“Color grade is so important. I tend to try and think of it early on with the overall colour of an image, and production, costumes, lighting, and stuff like that. It’s a hard thing to touch as well because it just sits on the surface. Like, when you walk into a room or walk past someone, and you get a whiff of a smell, and you suddenly get transported back to a holiday when you’re nine or 10 - grade does that.”
