Chromista's Darren Aronofsky directs "The Whale," premiering in New York

Featuring what is being called actor Brendan Fraser’s comeback performance, Darren Aronofsky’s film “The Whale” premieres in New York today, emerging from the film festival circuit having received several standing ovations. “The Whale” follows an English teacher who begins eating himself to death after the loss of his lover, then decides to attempt a last-ditch effort to reconnect with his 17-year-old daughter. Darren’s new film is drenched in Oscar buzz, with Fraser being the front-running contender for Best Actor.
